Amabis* was established in 1986 when Josephine Bott decided there was a space on Leicester High Street for a truly independent and eclectic jewellery and gift shop. From those humble beginnings, Amabis has grown into a delightful and quirky emporium that loves to champion new and aspiring designers and brands from all around the world.
Browsing the beautifully presented showcases, you will more often than not find just that elusive gift; if you can’t, ask our wonderfully friendly and accommodating assistants. They won’t hassle you, they’ll just give you their honest and informed advice should you need it.
We don’t sell anything on our website and that’s deliberate. We love people to come and visit us in the shop; feel, try and really appreciate our treasures. All the things you can’t do on the web.
